Wayne F. Nielsen
Mr. Nielsen has over 20 years of telecoms publishing experience and has developed and managed a number of industry magazines. He possesses a postgraduate Masters degree in International Relations, and Bachelor’s Degrees in Economics and Political Science from Central Michigan University. In 1991, he founded and published “Soundings”, a print magazine developed for then BT Marine. In 1998, he founded and published for SAIC the magazine, “Real Time”, the industry’s first electronic magazine with a mailing list was some 2500 submarine telecom contacts worldwide. He then founded and published the online magazine, “Submarine Telecoms Forum”, in 2001 with an expressed mission of creating an international forum for the expression of ideas and opinions pertaining to the submarine telecom industry. Subtel Forum is now in its 11th year of publication and the irrefutable “Voice of the Industry.” He has written a number of industry papers and articles over the years, and is the author of two published novels, Semblance of Balance (2002) and Snake Dancer’s Song (2004).
Kristian F. Nielsen
Kristian Nielsen literally grew up in the business since his first ‘romp’ on a BTM cableship in Southampton at age 5. He has been with Submarine Telecoms Forum for a little over 8 years; he is the originator of many products, such as the Submarine Cable Map, STF Today Live Video Stream, and the STF Cable Database. In 2013, Kristian was appointed Vice President and is now responsible for the vision, sales, and over-all direction and sales of SubTel Forum.

Mr. Summers is the Editor of Submarine Telecoms Forum, our resident graphic designer, a creative writing teacher and a professional author. Readers will be familiar with his Coda, the final article in each edition of SubTel Forum magazine. He has also been instrumental in many of the design and content changes to SubTel Forum since 2009. He has 20 years of experience in publishing and design.
Christopher P. Noyes, CMP
Mr. Noyes has 15 years of experience in executing full cycle marketing, event planning, project management, and customer support strategies in deadline-driven environments, and has been working for Submarine Telecoms Forum since 2016 as Conference Director. He has a talent for spearheading industry-recognized events designed to engage audiences, generate excitement, and drive market promotional events ranging from 20 to 25,000 attendees. He is pursuing a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, and possesses a Certified Meeting Professional (CMP) certification from the Convention Industry Council.
Kieran Clark is an Analyst for Submarine Telecoms Forum. He joined the company in 2013 as a Broadcast Technician to provide support for live event video streaming. In 2014, Kieran was promoted to Analyst and is currently responsible for the research and maintenance that supports the SubTel Forum International Submarine Cable Database; his analysis is featured in almost the entire array of SubTel Forum publications. He has 4+ years of live production experience and has worked alongside some of the premier organizations in video web streaming.
