WFN Strategies Announces Completion of Installation Implementation Support for AR-SAT’s Strait of Magellan Crossing Project

By WFN Strategies

WFN Strategies (WFNS) is pleased to announce the installation implementation of a project supporting Argentina’s AR-SAT. WFNS supported the procurement, installation, and acceptance of submarine and terrestrial fiber optic cable linking Tierra del Fuego and Santa Cruz Provinces.

WFNS undertook the proposed services in two phases: Phase I included procurement assistance. Phase II included analysis of Installation Planning and Survey Report, cableship shipboard representation and eventual supervision of final acceptance testing. “WFNS was pleased to assist AR-SAT as they expanded their satellite network into ground based facilities” said Wayne Nielsen, WFNS’ Managing Director. “The crossing of the Straits of Magellan is an interesting project in a unique part of the world and an important first step for AR-SAT.”
