SubOptic 2013 – The Submission Date for Executive Summaries has been extended to 30th September 2012

After being approached by several authors asking for more time, the submission date for submitting Executive Summaries/Abstracts has been extended to 30th September 2012. The facility on our website www.suboptic.org will be open to receive your submission until this date.

The conference which will be held in the Marriot Rive Gauche Hotel in Paris, will start on April 23rd, 2013 and last three days. It will be preceded by a series of master-class tutorials which will be held on April 22nd, 2013.

The seven topic areas below have been chosen by the SubOptic 2013 Programme Committee, based upon the experience from previous events. Papers for Oral and Poster presentation for these topic areas are now being sought.

1. The Market Place

2. Project Development and Implementation

3. Marine Services and Operations

4. Network Architecture and Design

5. Equipment and Component Technologies

6. Network Operations and Carrier Services

7. Special Markets

The Call for Papers details the submission and review process together with more information on the content of papers that could be considered under each topic area. It also includes details of the Paper Committee Vice Chairs who will be responsible for each topic area.

Submissions can now be made at any time via our website, www.suboptic.org

The deadline for submission of Executive Summaries has been extended to the 30th September 2012 and authors will be advised of the outcome of the review by 3 December 2012.
